Transcend by Heide was born of a personal journey. I was born in the Philippines and my family migrated to Hawaiian Islands. Growing up, I watched my grandfather LOLO, grandmother LOLA, mother and other family members use traditional plants, herbs and flowers to beautify and to heal, and I didn’t fully understand why. When I got older, I traveled to different places and I tried every traditional local product out there. These products were cosmetic, nutritional and supplement-based to support my vitality, skin, and mood, and I was often swayed by big promises and fancy packaging, yet unaware of the hazardous ingredients these things often contained. When I married and became a mother, I was welcomed into my husband’s western living. It gave me a great advantage to embrace ancient remedies for a modern life. I believe my life was transcended into a perfect balance between east and west. This was a gift, I embraced the tradition of touch, massaging my infant children’s tiny feet with oil freshly harvested from my garden, to soothe and nurture them naturally. This was the beginning of my mission, Ancient remedies for a modern western life. It’s where I learned to create advanced rituals safe well-being for my family and myself. My children have grown now, and so has my passion and understanding of the power of my culture and the crucial importance of locally sourced ingredients and clean skincare products.

Q: What do you love most about what you do?
I created Transcend By Heide to share these products that we use everyday. Some products are preventive & healing plant based ingredients, infused with family recipes selected to balance and support areas of vulnerability, while others are pure and unadulterated therapeutic oils to apply the body. Transcend by Heide is my invitation to everyone to discover the precious resource that changed my life and that is the heartbeat of this love story. Produced in traditional ways by locals farmers I have come to know and love, from the region where my family has its roots. My life is full, my time is short, and these blends are my beautiful allies in supporting and protecting the well-being of those I love, and ensuring we stay connected in a world that often hustles us into states of separation and stress. My greatest hope is that Transcend by Heide brings you the same joy, harmony, and happiness as it brings to me and my family each day.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
My hometown the Philippines. To bring my kids to show them where true hard works come from and to learn more about ancient healing remedies.

Embrace curiosity, be kind to yourself and others, never stop learning, and pursue your passions with determination and resilience.

As for the location, Perrysburg, OH, has a range of charming restaurants and cafes in its downtown area that could provide a pleasant setting for a lunch meeting.

One unique aspect of our community is its rich historical heritage. The city is known for its well-preserved downtown area, featuring beautiful architecture, charming shops, and restaurants.
