I am a curious and engaging person who operates at the intersection of affordable housing and community health and well-being. My heart resides with people and organizations committed to building community through collaboration with public and private partners to ensure populations served achieve their best outcomes. I believe each person deserves quality affordable housing, access to health care, and the ability to live their best lives regardless of their zip code. Professionally, I strive to be a servant leader transforming, communities, people, and process innovation. I am also a developer of partnerships and collaborations that escalate performance to maximize effectiveness. Connecting with people who motivate the work that I do each and every day is a bonus.

 

Q: What do you love most about what you do?
What I enjoy the most about what I do is the ability to begin with a vision and bring it to fruition. This is achieved by bringing capable partners alongside our organization to achieve results. It takes all of us to make the spaces and places we call home great!

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
There are countless interesting people here in the community that it’s hard to identify just one. If I must, the person that I believe stands head and shoulders as a pillar in the community is Wendy Huntley. Her energy is infectious and her passion for the mission surrounding her work is inspiring.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
If I could travel anywhere – love this question!, it would be Brazil. Why? Because outside of the United States, it is one of the largest melting pots of culture in the world full of natural geographical beauty, diverse people, and fantastic food.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
The advice that I would give is to never cease to do good. Each of us embodies God-given talents that can be used for the good of others. Find your purpose and use it to act boldly, impact greatly, & bless others.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
My bucket list includes a cozy trip to Vail, Colorado with a first ever ski-lesson. I’m not a fan of the cold but Vail looks beautiful. For those of you who have already ventured to this area of the country, send me travel tips!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
If I could choose anyone, I would choose Condoleeza Rice. She is a great balance of intellect, depth, and knowledge. We would meet up at Mancie’s Bluewater Grille.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Definitely the metro parks. They are beautiful and some of Ohio’s best.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?

My local 10 out of 10 is hands down the Toledo Art Museum.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My children. I have two daughters who have such an amazing outlook on life. My daughters are an incredible source of daily inspiration.

Tranquil, calm, and cozy
