I’m a life-long Perrysburg girl! Born and raised near Woodland Elementary in the 80s: frequent bike rides to Pizza Hut buffet and Municipal Park. My parents and both of my brothers also live in Perrysburg. After getting my start at Belmont, I played tennis for St. Ursula Academy and University of Toledo, where I graduated in Finance. I’ve always held a banking or treasury job. When I’m not working, I’m watching my kids’ swim, basketball, baseball or football games. You might even catch me at a Perrysburg Band/Orchestra concert or on a date with my handsome husband. I love Northwest Ohio and don’t plan on leaving!
Q: What do you love most about what you do?
I’m a finance nerd, so I love following global economics. I also love a good corporate scandal: Enron, Madoff, Wirecard, Nissan/Renault…so many choices.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Probably all my friends at OTF Perrysburg. When we are together we cannot stop talking so I’d say I find them VERY interesting!
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
West Coast wine tour. I’d love to drive the coast and visit all the vineyards.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Don’t believe everything you see on social media.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Hawaii. Not sure when I will actually make it there, but it looks like paradise.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Difficult question for an introvert. I do love people who make me laugh. Going with the cast of Bridesmaids for a margarita lunch at Tekela.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
We are a really lucky riverside community: cute downtown, Levis, redevelopment on Route 20, awesome schools, historic fort. City services that keep us safe. And we still have a local bookstore, which I’d say is VERY unique.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Benchmark. We’re so lucky to have this gem so close to home. Everyone who works or dines there is amazing.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids. Every time I feel like throwing in the towel I take one look at their faces and pull myself together.
Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Fortress, Safe Place, Escape
