I’m a born and raised Toledo Area Native! I graduated from Sylvania Southview in 2007 then went on to receive my bachelors degree from BGSU in 2011. I moved to Philly for 4 years of optometry school but knew I always wanted to come back to the Midwest area after graduating as nothing beats home and family. I love being in a career that allows me to help people as well as balance time with my family. My husband and I have 3 young kids so we are always on the go keeping busy making memories with them on the weekends
Q: What do you love most about what you do?
I absolutely love getting to help people of all ages see their very best. From the elderly to the young kids and getting to form relationships with them and their families year after year.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Australia…it has been on my bucket list since I was a little girl. So someday I will make it a reality!
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Don’t let failure keep you from reaching your dreams. Dust yourself off and reach even higher.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Carrie Underwood. I absolutely love country music and think she is just such an inspiration to women and has such a down to earth personality.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love all there is to do in the Toledo area any time of the year! We love taking the kids down to the zoo or out downtown Toledo to see the Walleye or Mud Hens. We also love getting out and about to enjoy the beautiful metroparks in the summer months.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Mr Freeze Ice Cream! I am a firm believer in the motto there’s always room for ice cream. The turtle sundae is one of my favorites but I usually keep it simple with a black raspberry and vanilla twist cone and sprinkles.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids…I am always trying to push my self to be a better mom and role model for my kids

Family, comfort, relaxing
