I am honored to be a part of the Danberry Agent Services Department! Danberry Agent Services is designed to love, serve and care for all Danberry agents across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

I have been in the marketing/communications industry for the past 25 years serving both the financial and real estate fields. My experience covers corporate events, videos, blog writing, digital magazine creation and publishing, graphic design and event photography. Each position I have held has helped me grow substantially in this ever-changing digital world.

I grew up in Martins Ferry, Ohio which is located just across the Ohio River from Wheeling, WV. I completed my BA in Communications with a minor in Professional Writing at Capital University located in Bexley, Ohio where I met my husband, Geoff. We have been married for over 20 years and have been blessed with identical twin boys, Jacob and Travis. The boys are Toledo natives and currently attend the Carl H. Lindner College of Business School at the University of Cincinnatti. We couldn’t be more proud of these two outstanding young men.

Previously I have served on the Springfield Schools Foundation specifically helping with their marketing and event needs. Our entire family has volunteered for the past 10 years at the check-in for the CedarCreek Church. I have also co-chaired the Springfield Sprint 5K/Run/Walk event helping raise funds for the Springfield Academic Boosters and Cross Country Team. For a fun fact, I have completed two full marathons and have run numerous half marathons. I look forward to getting to know you!

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Our Toledo Metroparks desrve a 10 out of 10! It is one of the best attributes of the greater Toledo area. Over 20 different parks to take your family out for a long walk or hike. When my boys were little, I went to a different Metropark almost everyday so that they could run and play on the amazing play grounds. It is a crucial a cherished memory that I have with them and each time I visit the parks, the memories of love and fun flood back into my mind.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
There are a lot of people who inspire me to be better. My husband, my boys, my parents, my sister, my co-workers and my friends. It really is a community of people that I am surrounded by that bless me with love in all kinds of ways. I am truly blessed by each and everyone one of them. As I get older, these relationships are, by far, the most important thing to me in my life. I want to be remembered for how I treated people not for the things that I have left behind.

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Home is in my “heart” No matter where I lay my head at night, as long as I have my family and friends, I am home. Being grounded in my own self helps to realize that “home” is a feeling not a place.
